Our History
Founded in 1965, our offices have been serving the community for over 50 years! We have two convenient locations serving Royersford and Phoenixville areas. Our Doctors and staff are highly trained to help you with your eyecare needs. Our motto is "Our Vision is to Help Yours!"

Yearly Eye Exams

As part of your comprehensive eye exam, our doctor will screen your eyes for glaucoma, cataracts, amblyopia (lazy eye), diabetic eye disease, hypertensive eye disease, retinal detachment, and many other disorders of the eye. Of course, our doctor will also listen to your visual concerns and needs to derive at an appropriate and comfortable eyeglasses prescription.
Contact Lens Exams

We specialize in contacts that provide better comfort and vision! We have experience in custom made contacts for keratoconus, ectasia, post-Lasik dry eyes and orthokeratology. Our instruments can create detailed maps to help find the best lens for you.

We offer the exciting new treatment of myopia while you sleep! We are certified CRT contact lens specialists. Using a new device that maps the topography or curvature of the cornea, custom lenses safely reshape the eye. More information
Dry Eye Disease

Are your eyes red a lot? Do you feel burning, especially at the end of the day? If so, you might be experiencing dry eyes.  Our doctor can discuss several treatment options for you, including prescription eye drops that increase tear production or punctal plugs which decrease drainage of your tears from the eyes.

OUR DOCTORS
and OFFICE MANAGER
Kevin Rehak, O.D graduated from the College of William and Mary with a major in Physics in 1997. Dr. Rehak is a member of the American Optometric Association and a fellow of the International Academy of Sports Vision. Dr. Rehak was proud to participate in Project Insight which provided free exams and glasses to children in need. He has participated in two eyecare missions to Guatemala, during which eye exams and glasses were provided to over 2000 patients in a week to those in need.
In his spare time, Dr. Rehak enjoys spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, and home improvement projects.
Kitty McReady entered the Optical World in 2014. She started her Optical career as a frame stylist with Dr.Rehak in 2014. As the years went on she grew as an Optician and ultimately ended up as a Practice Manager of a private practice for 3 years. She is so excited to bring her skills back to the Colonial Family Eyecare team as the Practice Manager. Kitty was born and raised in New Jersey where she participated in Marching Band, Drum and Bugle Corps, Indoor Percussion, and Jazz Band. She moved to Pennsylvania in 2010 and has made a home in Phoenixville with her husband and son. In her spare time she'll pick up her clarinet, tap dance, look for Pokemon with her son, or enjoy traveling to different baseball stadiums with her family. (Her favorites are a tie between Fenway and Camden Yards.)
Kathy Nadler, OD graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2009. She attended Ithaca College and received a B.S. degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Nadler has provided optometric care in several locations in the area for over 10 years and was excited to join the Colonial Family Eyecare team in April 2021.
In her free time, Dr. Nadler enjoys sewing, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
